Yes, I decided to pin my decal sheet over my bench to remind me of how many stencils there were that I couldn't possibly see, much less read, from 72 feet away .... :grin:

I lost one microscopic decal in the process. Care factor: minimal :lol:

So this is the current state of Biggles' bus. I need to paint the cockpit framing and then it's basically done, but for Ident code letters. I thought I was able to get hold of these earlier but no joy. Fingers crossed I can get them in the next week.

Odd. Here's the link anyway: http://i1277.photobucket.com/albums/y48 ... 303641.jpg;

Sad news - I haven't been able to get hold of the lettering I need, so I can't fully complete this. It will have everything except the fuselage codes.

Oh well.... :???:

I say! That's rather nice - despite the lack of fuselage codes.

Shame the codes won't arrive in time, it still looks good though.

So, sadly it's still in limbo with regards to the codes (blast it, Smyth, where are they??!). But anyway, here's the constructed machine with everything else done.

Looks good, that!

Something in my grey matter is telling me that there WAS an early Spitfire painted like this once....!
