The basic colour scheme is now down, it just needs the odd touch in here and there before varnish and decals go on this afternoon.

Looks nice. Not a fan of the small wing roundels though. They don't look 'right'

This is looking great. I saw the bird painted this way the one time I went to Flying Legends, in 2000. Even though ersatz for a XIX it was such a great looking scheme.

I don't fancy making a habit of it. It took a shed load of varnish to level the surface of the fuselage side afterwards.

With the canopy, exhaust, propeller in place and a bone dome perched on the windscreen in typical BBMF manner and with the serials to be printed later I will call the model finished.
