Did you wake up with it glued to your head?

I wouldn't suggest trying to do anything after two bottles of sake other than finding a comfortable sleeping position - preferably not face down on the pavement or under a hedge
Doing - Tamiya 1/35th Universal Carrier.

Re: Toby's mysterious Mig
Version 2.
After the sake/glue incident of Saturday night I've started again.
This time I mixed Vallejo light turquoise with Akan grey blue to tone down the brightness and I think it's worked.
Also I didn't use any nose ballast initially so took the opportunity to do so now.
Added some minor detailing to the cockpit as well

Good to see version 2 is underway Toby. A wise decision with the nose weight as I think the -21 is a tail sitter otherwise.

Does the Cuban version have a cigar cutter and ashtray in the cockpit?

I don't think the body panels have been rolled on the thighs of Cuban lovelies either

Looking sweet Toby.
I do prefer the early versions, before they became overweight beasties.

That is looking good Toby. There is a purity of line with the earlier MiG-21 models, before the type began to sprout its various lumps and bumps.

Re: Toby's mysterious Mig
For some reason I've got a bit bored with this.
It could be that as I've got the cockpit interior colour a tad wrong I'm dreading taking the masking off to what might reveal something rather garish.

Re: Toby's mysterious Mig
It looks good to me Toby.
And on the bright side, given the speed you're getting these together, you have plenty of time to build another.
This could turn into a "Squadron of Mig-21s GB"

Re: Toby's mysterious Mig
It looks like you've managed a decent paint finish in that Toby. I don't know how much of the cockpit interior will be visible through the glass but hopefully you'll be satisfied with it and your enthusiasm will return.
