Maybe there's some scope for Anime Does Biggles and some of the less-real-world Biggles fleet being kitted...?
Please critique my posts honestly i.e. say what you think so I can learn and improve...

Hmm.....Porco Rosso style eh. Could work, though Miyazaki is out of the game now as far as I'm aware, so I'm not sure who would pick up the 1920s aviation baton.
Generally, Anime goes in for giant transforming robot suits.

By that you mean Claus' vanship, yeah?
Corect, but since it's something of an heirloom, I used the family name instead.
To my mind the differences are so great it would almost be simpler to scratchbuild it. I reckon they will release a kit of that soon enough, too. I'm very surprised it wasn't the first one kitted.
Those are definately among my grounds for procrastination on this project. I hope you're right about the other vanship also being kitted, but not very hopefull; I fear the original Last Exile has been forgotten and/or eclipsed by Fam of the Silver Wing (undeservedly, if you ask me, but nobody's asking..)

Still, if a conversion of some parts is problematic, I can always use the original bits and claim Lavie raided the military for some spare parts..

I used to like the Games Workshop stuff too, especially the 40K stuff. Mind you it's blooming expensive these days.

It'd be nice to see a bit more sci-fi stuff being produced.

Hi Guys

I hope you don't mind me joining in with a late start, I have a 1/8 scale Black Widow figure from the Iron Man film that I wont to have a go at.

Regards Splash
My work bench is starting to look like Portsmouth Naval Dockyard.

A few folks may need a little more time, could Mr Ratz leave the GB open for an extra week to get those completions?

I'm aiming to get it finished by the end of the weekend. I just need some daylight modelling time to get the paint done.

We are allowed to the third for late completions, then the GB is over.

Last day gang, so far out of 12 starts we have seven complitions, pretty good for such an unusual GB!

If BW can complete his projects we will have 9 of 12 which would be excellent.
