Thanks iggie, the aircraft in the series seem to be overall white, Airfix have called for panels in Humbrol 196 but not having that I opted for Humbrol 64 and I do myself think it better than the kit call-out.
The canopy and pilots are now ready to be fitted, before I did so I have decided to add some of the stencil decals from the 07004 TSR-2 kit to make the model more believable. The pilots are now fitted but are still minus heads and arms, these will be made up and added when the glue has dried.

Those suit zips/harnesses certainly make things stand out  :-D

I don't think there's a single completed kit of mine that has all the correct call out colours on it!
Best wishes

Cool colour scheme David. I thought it was going to be all white, hence my previous "tonal variation" query.

In the original Anime, the meteor sweepers have there pilots lying down. Which means for the pilot behind.....nevermind.

Also, I was meant to be using the non-text version, just as a sign for how the two pilots look.

Sorry, yes BW - I do see what you mean. I did not connect the face in the picture (whowever that is) to the, er, seating position in the series. I simply thought ??? who is that!

Things are on track but have slowed down as an unexpected extra shift over the bank holiday has kept me away from the bench for much of yesterday. still working on the pilots in between building the 'real' TSR-2 over in the TSR-2 GB, both pilots have posed arms and I am now carving new heads, when there is something to show later today I will post the next pictures.

The pilots are finished and installed, Karin in the rear seat diligently surfing the net (for news of her parents?) and Mikaze in the front seat waving to someone on the ground. The canopy is also painted and ready to be fitted, the windows have been drilled out and filled with PVA instead of the black decals supplied with the kit. The canopy has now been fitted, the airframe varnished and is drying overnight for the final pictures tomorrow.
