Hi, a few more pics of the stat of play of the Voyager. Feel like I've painted the same bits more than once in some places!!. Second coat of Hu196 is on, a lot of things touched up a bit and the engines/pylon area underway.

Phew, hope that gives an idea of where I am on the build. Strangely, never been a big fan of the Voyager, large front end, smaller back end and the engines stuck on, almost looks like they got bored by the time they designed the front and got to the back. Although she is looking nice so far!.

Thanks chaps. It is fairly simple to build so that's helping. I don't know how available these are but if I could take more time it would be brilliant to light it. The windows are actually quite easy to drill out and the inside of the primary hull is a nice big open space. The lower part of this is just a flat surface so would be great for mounting lighting or the like. Still, on with this one!...

I once bothered with lighting years ago, in the end its just a pain, all that extra work for people to say 'that looks nice' and lose interest 2 seconds later.

My goal is to eventually light something. It just makes the kit come to life.
