She just needs her engines and she'll be done as far as construction. Now slogging through masses of decals although they do come off of the backing sheet after only a short soak and behave well so it's easier than feared!!. Even putting on some smaller ones!!. Here are a few pics to hopefully show the current status.

***A quick warning for anyone with this kit, decals 20 and 21, which are transporter emitters (I think), just to either left and right side of the rear of the bridge, are the same meaning one fits right while the other is at the opposite angle to the place it should go. I had to cut the decal and move the ends so that it fitted.***

Thanks everyone!. Yes there are a few, many about the size of a 1/72 Spitfire tailwheel, or they would fit on the side of one!.

I so nearly did except for the fact that they didn't need a long soak like some decals I have used. Therefore I could get a lot done, even the little ones!. Still have about half the decal sheet left though!!!. One more engine to go on tonight and a quick paint up around the pylons, coat of varnish and she should be good to launch!.

FINISHED!!, One day to go!.. Just a few pics to show the end result. A bit smudgy close up but I'm pleased with her and she does build nicely. As has been said it's the mass of painting and decals that take the most time. I used 21 different paints at one time or another, 2 acrylics, 2 varnish and 17 enamels, plus a decal sheet that reached the 150's in number.

And thanks to Chris I think for suggesting the GB, probably wouldn't have got her out of the loft let alone built so ta!.
