Re: Space seed
I'm following with interest too! These are looking really great - It's always nice to see an earlier Enterprise built up.
It's funny really. When I was young I didn't like the original series, much preferring TNG, Starwars, Babylon5 etc. But now I'm older (and hopefully wiser ) and interest in most things sci-fi has reduced, I think I like the OS more than anything, especially the movies - I love the Humor (sci-fi can take itself far too seriosly) and the effects where brilliant.
Looking forward to seeing them finished!
Cheers

Re: Space seed
Decals are going on today guys, I wanted to give an extra day for the gray to dry, acrylics are quite delicate when sprayed on if you don't, its very easy to scratch it and ruin the entire job.

Re: Space seed
The Enterprise is glossed, decals added, bands around warp engines and vents painted gunmetal, warp reap caps painted medium gray for contrast

Re: Space seed
Very smart. As a bit of a trekkie I am going to have to get one now. I was always put off as it looked to simple to build but the end product is definitely worth it. Nice one Chris.

Best wishes

That looks great, I'm tempted to dig my big Revell one out of black hole of the stash pile.
