You dirty old man!!!splash wrote:
Having now given the body a coat of primer I can see several joins that will need a smear of filler. I can also see the attraction of making these figures
Hoping to return to modelling sometime this year!!

Re: Splash's Black Widow figure
The kit is very simple and has only needed a smear of filler in one of the arm joints as the other is covered by her hair.
As a first attempt at large figures I'm enjoying the build.

Large figures can be lots of fun, I did a 'Hulk' a few years ago and it was great fun.

Still need to paint the face and hair on mine but left the hair off until the face is done.
Like how yours is turning out. Large figures are fun aren't they.

I must admit I'm enjoying this one, I thought about adding the hair last but thought there might be an issue getting a good fit against the face, so if fitted the hair run a smear of filler around the face to hair join.philp wrote:Still need to paint the face and hair on mine but left the hair off until the face is done.

Back in the 70's I used to paint 54mm Napolionic soldiers so it's making pleasant from kit bashing aircraft.
