Your images are coming up that they have been moved or deleted. Could you fix this please?

I'd changed the title of the folder they were in in Photobucket.

APPROVAL SET TO MAXIMUM.TobyC wrote:I've gone for the Revell F8. The reason behind this is I'm going to use the markings of a captured G3 and cosmetically there's very little difference in them that I can find.
Sorry if this offends the purists
However I think Mr Vandal will approve that I'm going for the primarily white one

Understand. For the G-3, don't forget to fill in the outboard 20mms. The Gs only had the inner pair and should you feel bold, you can removed the breech bulges from the cowling since the earlier As had 7.92mm over the engine.TobyC wrote:Thanks Chuck unfortunately all of the the 4 Academy kits I have are of the D version.Chuck Finley wrote: I thought you should know that the Academy Fw-190 in 1/72 has the options for a A-6 and A-8. The A-6 has a cowling that is a lot closer to the G-3 flown by the US Navy. I plan on using mine for the Tri-color scheme.
On second thoughts, let's not go to Camelot. It is a silly place!

Here is a picture of the 190 G3 I'm attempting to make
As can be seen there's no inner guns on it.

That should look really good!
Best wishes

Re: Toby's Captured FW190 G3
Cockpit completed.
As it was more than likely that the white was painted over camouflage that was already there I decided to roughly spray some on before I put the top coat on.
I'll probably use Vallejo off white and use a chipping medium between.

Re: Toby's Captured FW190 G3
Very nice.
I'll need to repeat what you've done here with the undercoat for my Blue 7. Apparently the white on that one was a temporary spray-over.

The camouflage undercoat is a good idea. Looking good.

Back from hols and my mojo had gone
However this morning I found it.
Canopy on and first layer of grey white applied. I'll probably lightly put a lighter white on before decalling.
