Got some more done on the build.
Finally up on it's legs.
So I have a few things to tidy up on. Sorting out my paint because that will soon start. It persists in giving me a fight but thinking it will all work out in the end.

Looking good. Which paints are you planning to use?
On second thoughts, let's not go to Camelot. It is a silly place!

Hi Chuck.
I am looking at some combinations. Starting with Testors Model Master and PolyScale (my paint of choice) And I may just do a little homebrew mixing. Don't care for Testors version of Brown-Violet. Reminds me of US Olive Drab.

I will say it is growing on me and I'm on the verge of being won over by this particular variant of long snout. The model itself looks much nicer than the box art and I do like those wings. Now I'm quite looking forward to the finished product.
