Try some clear sticky tape (blimey, that sounds a bit like Blue Peter!) like scotch tape, which has a sort of opaque finish. Paint it with the required camo colour(s) and then slice it into very thin strips and apply to the glazing bars, sealing it with Humbrol Clear or similar...
Best wishes

Jim
If you can walk away from a landing, it's a good landing. If you use the airplane the next day, it's an outstanding landing

Phew!, finished!. Just a few pics to show the end result. Although not my best work, especially around the hand painted framing(!), and the kit could probably do with a new tooling, but I'm happy with it. Luckily, through sheer chance, the kit featured markings from the exact unit I picked to do from another book!!. The only difference was the individual aircraft letter!.

Although I still cannot settle with applying German swastikas, the iron crosses look good, and remind me of a Matchbox Bf/Me110 my Dad made for me when I was about seven. Might have to fish out my current Bf/Me110!!.

Nice work.

Although the Nazis were vile all their aircraft did carry the hooked cross, for history's sake I always include them on my builds. Its not to me a matter of glorifying Nazis but one of historical accuracy.

Yes, that's true. I think it's to do with what it represented etc, I don't think I would have a problem on a Finnish aircraft!, and I know the symbol was originally for luck or fortune or something similar so perhaps I will go for it someday!. Do like to be accurate if I can!.

You've done a very good job there.
