Thanks to David's (Lancfan) generosity I now have a canopy that fits, though I did have to remove the previously added side bits for a better fit:

Annoyingly I am going to be away from the desk for a few days so there is a good chance that this will end up in the DNF pile. Darn it.

I have just got back from an emotional visit to the Somme Battlefields, and have managed to devote some time to my models.

The Emil has had a coat of primer:

Since this picture, and with no flaws to note I have given the bottom a coat of RLM 02 followed by a coat of Klear. Once this has dried I can get the top camouflage on.

Top camouflage now applied, and yellow nose and tail done:

All that is left to do is the mottling, decals and weathering, should be finished on Tuesday as I am away from the bench again on Monday. :roll:

Unfortunately I am going to have to call this one as a DNF, I will complete it and post the finished picture's in my workbench when time permits.
