Great progress. That leading edge is odd looking, not one one usually sees.
Al speling misteaks aer all mi own werk..
Its not just how good your painting is, its how good the touch-ups are too.

You are right Fred. Late war fighters, especially the Ta-152, had it. The link provided on the first page shows pictures of the actual airframe with the wavey edge but not as pronounced as I did. I have gone back this morning and touched it up. By the way, I used craft scissors to get the wavey edge. Cutting Tamiya tape.
Thanks for looking. Keeping me fired up.

Incidentally, this is the scheme I'm going to do on my last '109!

Another update. This time most of the painting is done. A little more fuselage mottling is needed. Pure semi-defense scheme.
Thinking pretty good thoughts at this point.

Scary thought. A real thread buster.

Re: Jeff's Escaping Eagle
Got up early today so thought some decalling before work would be appropriate.
You will note some decal film showing on the upper wing. The setting solution as yet to fully dry and I was impatient to get the pictures taken.
Let's see if I am right at noon today when I stop home for lunch. Keeping fingers crossed. Anoth reason to never dispose of paint mixes until the model is done.
