Jeff's Escaping Eagle****Finished****
Re: Jeff's Escaping Eagle
Checked it over during my lunch break and all is well. Not decal film showing through. Added the "Yellow 5" decals and the werk nummer on the vertical stabilizer while I was at it.

Very nice!
I never noticed before that the rudder was a different shade of grey from the rest of the tailfin.

Yeah. Different for sure. According to the Monogram Publication book it could be overall rlm75 with 82 hard line mottling or brown violet with mottling.
This morning I got to aggressive with the heat and snapped the aerial. Back at it a replacement sprue.
Hope to have it pretty well wrapped up tonight US time.

Well I am calling this one completed.
Overall, the revisit of this kit brought back good memories. In the Michael's Craft stores with coupon you can pick one for $5.50 USD.
The complex finish customary with late war Luftwaffe was a challenge.
