Toby's Super Cobra. "FINISHED"

Post by TobyC »

Never done a chopper before so it'll be a learning curve all the way.
I'll be making the 1/72 Revell Bell AH1W Super Cobra that Splash kindly gave me
ETA:
To be correct Splash gave me another kit not this one but the thanks remain the same ;-)

A Cobra is a good kit to "cut your teeth on" Toby. Look forward to seeing it progress.

Sorry sir. I've been on holiday for a few days.
My mum forgot to send a note excusing me :)

I've even remembered to add some weight to the forward area.

White-tac and lead that's a good idea to stop the lead moving, I must try that.

All gone a bit wrong.
I tried being clever and thought I'd spray in sections form the front to the rear.
This went well until I came across the winglets which I masked with maskoil. Never again.
So complete redo from the cockpit aft with the winglets coming off and painted separate from the fuselage
