I will be building this Vietnam era Marines Chopper, one of the engine air filters is missing so I will have to prefab it, not an easy job.

Always good to see a Monogram kit being built Chris. It looks nice - and a Military Chopper GB wouldn't be complete without a Huey!

And a Hog in 1/48 would open up the opportunity to do a wealth of detailing on the inside. Good luck.

There is a part missing, half the air vent, a very hard part to fabricate but I will give it a whirl.

It looks like you get a good choice of weapons to fit on it.

Hi Chris.

The twin sixties was a lethal package. For the pilots the shift from guns to the grenade launcher was tough due to ballistics.

That missing part. You have a part number? I have several basket cases and can source it.

I'll look it up today Jeff, if you can help it would be big, as the part is very odd shaped.

OK, I am on it, Chris. I think that you need the other half of the particle separator/filter thingy.

PM me your addie and I will take care of it.

Need those parts soon Jeff!

Sub assembles done.

These parts are painted silver using something I just found, Mr Color acrylic silver paint which is excellent. This must dry before I can add some washes to the interior and engine.
