The wheels go on.
I had to fettle the locating pins for the main struts, but otherwise no trouble.
However, I think I need to shorten the relocated front wheels, as it's sitting a bit nose up!
cheers

There's a huge weight in the front, but it would be a tailsitter if I hadn't put the weight in. I just need to shorten the oleos a bitsplash wrote:Is it a tail sitter?

I'm hoping the resin nose will be enough for mine.

I shortened the oleos by 2mm and that seems to have done the trick.
I have to tackle the windows next.

I've added a thin tube as the exhaust pipe to replace the solid kit piece
I'm also working on the rotor head. One of the blades is drooping down to much. I think that the base plate is bent and is the cause of the problem. It may need to be replaced.
cheers

The exhaust pipe fell off again
This must have happened while I was unmasking the windows
I used Glue'n'Glaze to do the lower windows and it worked very impressively.
I'm less happy about the upper windows, but I haven't started retouching the frames yet.
cheers

It is indeedy. It's the Aeroclub Gnat F.1. See the Basement Lab workbench thread for the latest news on filling , sanding and primingsplash wrote:Is that a single seat Gnat on your workbench?
The struts have had a coat of Sky, so the window framing is now the big job still remaining.
cheers
