Ta, For the most part the Sea Dragon isn't too bad. They did go with a two sides of the fuselage and a underside (making three parts) breakdown of the parts but it went together fairly well, just watch the alignment. The plastic is a little 'blurry' in appearance but is firm enough.
The engines don't have locating holes on the fuselage and their own parts aren't great fitting, you have to put one part against the top 'spine' and line up the other with the shape of the fuselage!.
Other than that it looks okay as far as parts are concerned and is enjoyable enough to build.

Thanks everyone!. I've managed to pick two of the fiddliest camo schemes around for the Mil's. No nice wrap around stuff or Spit/Hurricane style, no, these are what I have come to know as 'splodge camo'. Lot's of inny and outy curves!!!!. Small brush outline filled in with a larger brush and touched up about half a dozen times!. At least the 53 is all over grey!!!!. :ha:

Having just done a fiddly camo scheme myself I think yours is very good. Look forward to seeing it finished as I have the same kit lurking somewhere.

Update time. The Mil's are racing towards the finish line but the 53 is lagging behind. Something to do with all those shapes all over the place!!. She is at least on her wheels/undercarriage...
Image
And the bit I have been looking forward to/dreading.. the rotor assembly...
Image
The top cover and the other two parts that make it up are at least as big as a current 10 pence piece!!. The assembly is fiddly to say the least. The part on the right is the top cover, all SEVEN blades attach to this by one tab/hole. They are then held onto the part on the left (upside down), by TWO tabs/holes and joined by the third part not pictured!. Wouldn't be so bad if there weren't SEVEN blades!!.
(Did I mention the number of blades??). :ha:

One Finished!!!! The Airfix Mil Mi-24 Hind-A, Algerian Air Force (simply because I liked the colour scheme, I did have to make my own roundels and they are a bit blocky on my printer/paint programme). Plus I made a mess of painting the black circle smoother so apologies for the quality of work!!.

Image
The Italeri Hind-F is about done today, the Airfix one was done last night.
Image
As for the 53.... She's so close to finishing but still a few bits of painting to do and the decals and canopy/cockpit/nose piece.. May be a DNF but as she was an add-on I'll try 2 out of 3!!. I've also just noticed that the decals in the kit say 'US Army'???.
Image
I'm not saying she's big, however...
Image
And the rather massive rotor assembly, with a 30cm/12 inch ruler for scale.

WOW that is big!

the A looks brilliant - nice job on the decals, it looks super. and the D is going to be Awsome as well.

I'm sure sure how the extension process work as this is my first as GBL, but if you could finish it by the end of friday I might get an extension - I'll have to ask.
