Previously-built Models

A World War One GB - any subject, any scale, 1914-1918 - this is not a 1914-specific GB.
Runs 6 weeks, July 28th to September 8th, to allow plenty of time for biplanes, rigging, and holidays.
Your GBL is Chris, assisted by jRatz.

Previously-built Models

Post by JohnRatzenberger »

Here post 1-2 images of previous builds of GB-subject models. You do not have to be a member of this GB to do so.

If your model has a build thread on UAMF (old or new), then please include the link.

Wingnut Wings 1/32 Sopwith Pup RNAS
The famous N-6453, not on the occasion of her landings on HMS Furious, but rather in the Fall of 1917. As this was built for a review (IPMS/USA Journal), I did it almost OOB, only adding a Brock Shield on the Lewis, correcting the pitot location, and adding pitot tubing to the right front cabane strut.

Two Revell SE5as in somewhat spurious colours that I built some time ago.

Image

The brown-coloured aircraft is a simple whiffer, while the green one is based on a replica used in the film Von Richthofen and Brown (which crashed during a practice flight, killing Charles Boddington).
