The Medium-A Whippet tank ** Finished **

A World War One GB - any subject, any scale, 1914-1918 - this is not a 1914-specific GB.
Runs 6 weeks, July 28th to September 8th, to allow plenty of time for biplanes, rigging, and holidays.

Here we are, back again.

Looks a lot like last set of pix, but I have started some mild washing & dusting, etc.

So, I'm going to wash & dust away for a couple days, remembering to save enough time for a flat coat.

Complete. I used several washes to dirty up the white, provide a little bit of road grime, and some panel definition. The tracks were darkened on the flat part but left shiny on the parts in contact with the road.

Enjoyed this build, the kit is quite easy to build, aided by well-cast resin parts - no drama. Probably the only difficult part was getting the center of the track frames cleaned out right so the individual track pieces on front & rear would run right.

Thanks for looking and for helping !!!

Awesome job John!!! I appreciate your research into the color as well, I had not realized that the actual tanks were that color and so it was very informative for me. Thank you.

Great Build!

I think that modeling is a subtle mix of zen philosophy and absolute crazyness - but in my case I would not dare to specify the respective percentage of each......

Very impressive. The excellent armor builds in this and the D day thread almost make me want to take a first stab at this genre, but I can't do work like this.
