Daz's Richthofen Albatros - **WITHDRAWN**

A World War One GB - any subject, any scale, 1914-1918 - this is not a 1914-specific GB.
Runs 6 weeks, July 28th to September 8th, to allow plenty of time for biplanes, rigging, and holidays.

Daz's Richthofen Albatros - **WITHDRAWN**

My second build in the GB will be this....

I had originally thought this was a D.V kit (for some reason!), but I don't think there's much between the D.III and D.V, is there?

Anyway, I'm going to attempt this:

This should be very good.

That's a corking colour scheme

And no tricky woodwork replication either :-D :-D
Will look forward to seeing the progress on this
Best wishes

The D.III and D.V had very different fuselages, but MvR's D.III was very similarly painted to the illustration shown, so you should be okay. Are you planning to do a full standard color scheme and then mist the red over it? That should be an exciting challenge.

A good model is any model you can walk away from.

I'll have a think about it. I mean, since I'm going mad and doing rigging on this and the SE5a....! :ha:

Hi chaps

As related in the SE5a thread, I've not even managed to get this one started for one reason or another!

It will be built, though, so keep an eye on the Aviation Modelling forum.
