Chugging along nicely.
Besting 60 years of mediocre building of average kits in the stand off scale

Re: VV's VVoss Fokker Triplane
As an update, I discovered I forgot to add the ammunition case below the guns, before I closed the cockpit. Idiot.
I gave up trying to work out how to fit it post hoc. The first coat of Hu87 has been laid down. It will likely sit unattended for a bit while I finish up some other builds for the local club meet weekend after next. I should be back onto this straight after.

I'd like the light wood colour to be lighter and the dark darker, but it will suffice.
The aim is to finish up tonight. Not too much work left. Then I can reveal where my allegiance lies on that most important and divisive of issues - the cowling colour.

Bit of copper piping going down. May not be strictly accurate (unsure on this one) but sure does improve the look of the engine!
Bit of touching up to do (such as the wheels) and apply the last of the decals, then this sucker is done

Yes, I'm modelling this to represent the period when Voss got tired of people arguing over his cowling and decided to fly without one....
