Its not just how good your painting is, its how good the touch-ups are too.

Re: TimJ's Impromptu Buffalo Blitz *Launched*
The primer revealed a few areas that needed tidying so after that was done the first (and hopefully only) coat of paint has gone on.
The Jeep has had a coat of paint too. I still need to paint the windscreen surround as I was holding it while painting the rest of the body.

The Jeep's tyres and windscreen surround have been painted along with the Buffalo's tracks.
With an hour and a half to go it looks like it'll be another close one.

Re: TimJ's Buffalo Blitz *Sunk within sight of the beach*
Oh well, it had to happen sooner or later, my first DNF. It was close though, with the Buffalo's tracks to fit and some paintwork to touch up. Here's how it stood after 24 hours.
I'll get it finished and post some pics here later. Maybe I'll take a leaf out of Jeff's book and get up early in the morning so I can work straight through.
Meanwhile, on with the Frogeye.

Thanks David, it is a nice kit and I didn't need much filler either.

Oh, real shame you were beat by the clock.
Looking forward to seeing it completed.
I have never built one of these, but have been tempted of late.
