I find the lighter fluid very useful Nigel, it degreases any parts that I don't wash properly, it removes tape residue and it flushes my airbrush out after use to prevent it from clogging with acrylic.

The last parts were fitted and the model was weathered to finish the build at 21 hrs & 32 minutes.

As the others have said, you'd never know it was built in less than 24 hours to look at it. Excellent build.

Just caught up with this David. Top blitz build.
I like your method of fitting the wing to the fuselage before attaching the nose. I will try that as I have always had trouble with the Italeri Spits in this area.
