This is going very quickly. Faster than a speeding Spitfire. :)
Great work so far.
I may be tempted one day to do a Blitzbau myself.

Good thing you are not using gloss paints. It would take off without you. :ha:

And..... DONE!

The kit was from a bundle and came with no instructions or decals. One of these I didn't need, the other I did. The spares box came up trumps with a set of, albeit slightly faded, Spitfire decals. The upper wing roundels broke up, though, so I had to rifle through the stores again, hence the mix-n-match appearance!

I've got the Heller Spitfire XVI and the Arii Spit VIII to do next. I was going to do the PM Spit Vc but I haven't got a paint scheme for it yet.

Great result from an old classic (the kit not you!). I have the Heller & Arii kits in the stash so will watch with interest. you can never have too many Spitfires.

O_T - those two kits are great. They have their inaccuracies, sure, but they build into nice models with minimal effort. I've built quite a few of them in the past and have never been disappointed.

Missed the build. That's the Spit in the Canadian Aviation Museum, just down the road.
It shouldn't be in that colour scheme of course, but the person who donated it had it done in those colours, and the museum staff (being Canadian) were too polite to repaint it.

Nice model :)
