Thanks for the comments guys.
Back at the bench and the bands have had another 3 coats of white.
Time for some black.

The first coat of black has gone on so I'm now at the 'watching paint dry' stage.
While the paint's drying I'll get the rest of the parts ready to be fitted.

The crew are aboard and the wheels and canopy have been fitted.
With only three and a half hours to go I'd better get cracking as I still have 41 decals to put on.

Tyres painted, black paint touched up and masking tape removed.
A couple of coats of Klear and it will be ready for decals.

Re: Tim's Chipmunk *Finished*
Thanks Jeff.
At 2.00pm I was ready to start on the decals and paint the rest of the canopy frame.
It took a while to get all the decals on but I managed to get it finished with about a quarter of an hour to spare (as usual). Once again waiting for enamel paints to dry held me up.
A nice little kit that went together well. I'll post some glamour shots in the Gallery later.

Sorry I missed this Tim due to work but I've had a look back through the thread and you've done a great job - that doesn't look "blitzed" at all Good choice of kit it would seem.

Re: Tim's Chipmunk *Finished*
I really like that Tim, as Shaun said it doesn't look hurried at all. Nice scheme too.

Very impressive in the timescale!
Best wishes
