despondman's Lavochkin La-7 **Finished**
I am going to build the Lavochkin La-7.
There are 2 colour schemes, Czech and Soviet - undecided which to do at the moment.

Good choice!
If you allow me to: Ivan Kozhedub plane was in other camouflage colors

Thanks for your post. I much prefer those colours so very well might go for that scheme.novokits wrote:Good choice!

D-man,
I've never seen one of these built, so I'll be watching with interest.

Martin

Nice choice, and what a cracking "action" box top.

Looks like a nice simple kit. Should be fun to build.

I like the way the old frog kits had a small parts count and built quickly, some times I think modern kits are a bit over complicated with detail just for the sake of it.
My work bench is starting to look like Portsmouth Naval Dockyard.

Looking forward to this especially if it's done in the lighter camouflage.

Finally made a start. The cockpit had so little in it I felt I had to just fill it out a little.
Next job is to fashion a basic instrument panel.

Not a great cockpit, but a cockpit. Not my forte this but it does give a bit more than what came out of the box.

That looks good to me. Huge improvement on what Frog gave you.
