Great plane ( a favourite of mine ) and I really enjoyed building this kit though initially MattBacon had to "persuade" me to do it for the World of Frog CBK display.

Great choice, and a mean looking craft.

One question for collective mind before I begin. Nose cone in FROG kit is more short that should be?

I think I have read that the issues with the Frog Vixen was it nose shape and the height of the pilots canopy, between the two problems it makes the kit look slightly short and fat.

I still think its a good kit for its age. I think when I get to build mine I will fold the nose and wings that should hide the problems :-D

There are LOTS of shape issues with that kit - one to just build and enjoy as is, I think! I don't think ANY of the available Sea Vixen kits are that good, TBH. It would be nice if Airfix scaled down their 1/48 kit......

Looking good so far, that nose cone is going to need some serious work to blend it in though. Something you must be used to with your liking for NOVO kits. :-D

Good work so far. Looks like a straight forward build. That offset cockpit takes a bit of getting used to. ;-)
