Thanks Molly!. Here are a few more pics to show the current situation including some average attempts at mottling with a hairy stick!.

The RATO units are on minus their front sections, only the main bomb and the drop tanks to go on along with the clear parts. Dare I put a swastika on this one after failing to on the FW189?...
Hoping to return to modelling sometime this year!!

Nearly there!. All ordnance and loads attached, painting all but done. Just have to paint target sight on top of canopy and ring aerial on spine and she's ready for decals. BTW, FROG have included white outline swastika's on the decals sheet!?.

Much appreciated, Mark!

And the '234 isn't bad, too. It's not one of the FROGs you see built very often and yours looks great.

regards,

Martin

I think the white outlined swastika is probably right - the example preserved in the USA has one applied:

Hooray!, Finished!, am I the first?. Anyway, here are some pics, including the first swastika to make it onto one of my models. Historical accuracy and all that. Didn't feel bad or like scratching it off after my previous opinions on putting them on so it will stay for the time being!.

Very much enjoyed this build/model. Will definitely get another if I can, possibly to do the four engine version eh Martin!?.
