Great work so far Paul, and respect to you for going for the rescribe option. These basic kits certainly bring the'scratch builder' out of us modellers.

They sure do, Molly - old-school modelling, rather than the 'click to fit' modern stuff...!

Wowsers blitzing this one. Lovely cockpit.

I've not seen pictures of one with the wings folded, I like the little tip fold on it.

Cheers

Unfortunately - or fortunately, depending on your viewpoint - Frog didn't offer a folded wing option. Might try that with my Trumpy kit, along with the RPs and Suez stripes.

There might be a lot of years between the FROG kit and the Trumpeter one but the FROG still looks the part with some careful and sensible improvements. Good start Paul.

Cheers, guys. 8-)

No pictures at the moment, maybe later. The nasty sink marks around the nose were filled and sanded, the fuselage was re-scribed and I've just now glued the wing assembly to the fuselage. This is not a good fit and will need quite a bit of work later.

Just been fondling my Oxford - looks pretty simple, but I'll need to deepen the fuselage under the wings - that area doesn't look right at all. I've started a separate thread for this, and might make a start later.

Mind the Gap! :-D Nothing that a little filler won't cure. Great work so far Paul.

Nice work Paul, handy to see what to watch out for when mine finally comes out of deep storage. If I remember Matt B did one for the 101 gems display.

Cheers, Zee!

Not much done on this one today; I concentrated on the Oxford.

Still, I did discover that I needed more filler.....
