Looking good Paul, and a lovely clear canopy to show off the cockpit.

Some of these dogs are ill fitting creatures that's for sure.

Masked up the canopy last night in prep for a marathon airbrushing session for this and the Wyvern.

Well, the airbrushing didn't happen - Danielle had a migraine, so I didn't want the noisy compressor going today. Maybe tomorrow.

But, got a bit more done and the basic airframe is complete:

I realized, looking at photos of Oxfords, that the canopy framing often appears to have been painted black regardless of what colour scheme it wore. Which makes masking that much easier - I'll use decal strips instead! 8-)

Cheers, Julian! More Oxfordliness today, with a coat of black 'primer' for the coming Aluminium colour coat:

This revealed that the only seam touch-up I needed to work on was the rear of the underside bulge - not so umseamly....... ;-)

Been working on the fiddly bits while waiting for paint to dry - props and wheels were painted.

...and with a coat of Aluminium on:

A little touching up to do later, but not too bad. I'll be using black decal stripe for the canopy frames.

One thing I am still missing is a set of decals for this model, but I think I can cobble something together from my spares box.

Cheers, Ton.

More progress last night - got some canopy framing in place using Xtradecals Black Decal Striping, added the wheels and engines, and finished painting the props. Almost complete...

No pix, but I have finished the build process, but I don't have a suitable set of decals. I will try to make up something from my spares box............
