This is a GB for pre-1970 jets - any kit, any scale, any variant, any markings - as long as the aircraft and the markings are pre-1970.

This GB started from this thread.

The GB runs from September 1st to 30th; your GBL is Sir T who will fill in any other info.

Hi Guys and welcome to the 'Classic Jets' GB!

This GB is open to any pure Jet Aircraft (no turboprops etc) that flew before 1970 and should be marked in marking Pre-1970 as well.

Cheers all and fun, :)

And I shall start with a 1/72 FROG Sea Venom FAW mk.21 that I also have both the Airwaves PE sets for.

Maybe I shall also do a Skyhawk.

Cheers

I just picked up this pair for £12.50 at Antics in Bristol so a 1969 GR1 might be on the cards subject to my other build.

I'm jumping in with a classic sixties Delta wing Mirage. Nothing screams pre-70's like a silver arrow shape punching through the sound barrier. The old Matchbox kit, re-released by Revell of the Mirage IIIB will be my victim.
