Re: despondman's Mig-15bis
Definitely a nice little kit this with lots of detail.
Paint now applied. not used to painting a single colour, makes things a lot easier and quicker.
The kit is made to have the air brakes open but that is not how I wanted them.

Only the undercarriage to add now.
The kit includes a decal for the red nose but the decals are quite thick as decals go so I did not feel that the decal would work very well, anyway no trouble to paint the nose red.

Re: despondman's Mig-15bis
Calling it a day on this now.
Enjoyed making this model, don't usually make anything other than from WW2, but it was a fun build.
Forgot to say earlier that the kit contains 2 of each of many of the small pieces which is a good idea given how easy they are to lose or break.
Was surprised at how small the Mig-15 is, more-or-less the same size as a Spitfire.
Thanks to everyone who looked in and commented.

Good looking kit and as you say not the largest of jets There's one at the FAA museum and it's surprising how small it is.
Enjoyment over accuracy. That's my motto

Excellent D-Man, that is a great finish. Indeed, the MiG-15 is not a large jet and is therefore a good subject for the larger scales as well where sometimes jets can be a little too hefty for my liking!
