Splash's Widowmaker ***Finished***
I picked this up today from a local charity shop and thought it would make a good subject for this GB.
I quite like the German / Dutch grey/green colour schemes or the plain German Naval colours, so I'm open to suggestion.
Regards Splash

It looks like a nice kit the detail is very fine engraved lines and a test fit of the body parts looks like it should build well.

I haven built a Starfighter since the 70's so can't remember if they are tail sitters so just for safety I have added some liquid gravity to the nose.

This is a sweet kit the part fit is spot on with no sign of the need for filler
This would make a great blitz kit.

Re: Splash's Widowmaker
Sitting on the desk it almost looks like its 1/48 scale. This also makes me want to break out my Matchbox kit.

Re: Splash's Widowmaker
Dirk you know you want to join in, break out the Starfighter
I'm going for the Dutch splinter camouflage "G" version and have sprayed the lower half grey.
With luck tomorrow I can lay down the dark grey upper surface colour.

Re: Splash's Widowmaker
This is a real gem of a kit after a coat of dark grey you can really see the fine detail and quality of the fit, so far not a sign of any need for filler.
