Thanks for setting this up John, with such a good list of builders this should be a good GB with a wide choice of subjects available to us. The GB starts on Saturday October 4 and ends on November 2 to give us a full weekend at each end of the build. The GB is open to any real aircraft (no what ifs please), military or civil, of any era in any scale which has flown in French Markings regardless of where it was manufactured. Say hello and sign up here when you are ready.

Cheers, David.

I think I'd like to have a go with this one if that's OK. Starting with a Heller Morane 225 and then a Heller Caudron Renault 714 if I have time....

Welcome aboard bluesteel- more classic Heller, brilliant. The Caudron Renault 714 is on my wants list so will watch that for tips.

I may join in on this one (despite telling myself I won't do any more GBs for a while!).

I'm 99% sure I have markings for a French Spit somewhere. If I can find them, I'm game.

Let me guess- AZ? I have the RAF version of that and will get the "international" kit with the foreign AFs including France at some point before the next Spitfire GB.

I was thinking maybe either the Matchbox or Heller version - I have both "in stock"!

For the last three months, I have been taking a break from aircraft modelling and building many a 1/72 scale armor kit and rebuilding the upper level of my HO Scale railroad (Which is finished and makes a nice photo setting for my tanks. :) ) Back to the hangar with a Heller Bloch MB 210 that I picked up at a model show in Atlanta this summer. More importantly, it allows me to build yet another subject from my "Fall Grun" decal sheet by DP Casper.
On second thoughts, let's not go to Camelot. It is a silly place!

Well this GB is now over and we achieved 11 completions out of 13 builds so that is a good result. I hope everyone enjoyed this subject as much as I did as I may make French military aircraft an occasional theme after this.
