Finally the Window Ledge Monster has spat out it's goods! I pulled up my kitchen blinds this morning and the plastic bag with the decals dropped down from the bottom fold of the blinds. It looks like it must have been caught up with them the first time I pulled them up and has been going on rides up and down since the weekend, finally dropping out this morning. :-D

I think I may still wait for the newer boxing to arrive to see if the decals are any less yellowed.

This is starting to get very worrying, it sounds like the Window Ledge Monster is using intelligence to defeat us, who would look for a set of lost decals at the top of the window?

If the carpet monsters roost high up as well, it could account for us never finding one, as we all have been looking in the wrong places.

I'm glad you found them in the end, lets hope the new decals are in a better condition. I'm considering getting one of these UV light boxes that they use for drying nails as I have heard that they are good for removing the yellow from old decal's.

Very nice.

I recommend the nail-hardner UV light. I have one and it does the job well.

Its not just how good your painting is, its how good the touch-ups are too.

More progress on the Morane today. Rigged the interstrut wing rigging discovering enroute that the rigging instructions were wrong in part. Attached tailplane, yet to rig.

A few more struts to attach after that then on to the decals.

Finished! Although I've just realised from the photos I haven't attached the wind-shield. I'll do that once the decals have dried completely.

A fun build and although the green isn't the specified shade I rather like the result.

It is a bright green but does make for an attractive model.
