It is a great little kit. I love 'em.

Might be tempted to build another myself.

I've started slapping paint on with my usual lack of finesse, but this’ll be all I do for a while as I’m off on hols for a few days. Hopefully I’ll get a bit more done over the weekend.

I’ve also started painting up the u/c legs and doors/brakes.

Cheers

I've done a bit more work on the NMF but it still needs another coat on the fuselage, and the canopy.

I'm a bit short of time this week but I'll do my best, I might need a short extension inot next week though - I'd really like to get something into the gallery of completions for once.

In other new -two more of these kits landed on my doorstep today :-D :-D :-D

cheers

I'm glad you're up and running in the who can own the most HB Mig 15s contest. I suspect you are ahead as I seem to have run out but I do have several Airfix and Eduard kits in the stash but I think no HB kits is something I need to sort out
Really looking forward to seeing yours.

:-D :-D :-D Well the UTI I'll save for the 'Lesser known Countries GB' and one of the Others I'll save for the 'What-if GB'. the third one I'll probably do in North Korean Colours to go with my F-86 Sabre. I'll definitly try some of their other kits though, including the non-easy build ones - I'm impressed with their quality and detail.

Work will commence a bit more on this today.

Cheers

Silvers on, I'm not very happy with it as it's not very even but given the time left it'll have to do.

Didn't get a lot done today - the paint's still too tacky (after 24hrs!?!) - I did manage to test fit the canopy - oh and break off two of the gun barrels...

Having battles with the decals... I thought they'd gone down nicely but over night they bubbled up. I've pin pricked the Airbubbles and applied more clear this morning so lets hope. If they don't go down any moreI shall just leave them and move on to finishing the build.

Cheers

B*M, Blast and Tarnation..!

I've got all the doors and leggy bits on (not my best work but I'm trying to get this finished) but dispite all the weight I put in it's nose, the litlle miggy is sitting firmly on it's rear..... (and I've yet to add the clear parts under the tail which'll add more weight..  )

Grrrrr!

Looking at the standard of the other Mig-15's built during this GB mine really fall below par  But at least I know the issues with this kit now and hey - I've got three more in the stash! :-D
