With the masking removed and the decals, varnish, U/C, aerial & drop tanks in place the model is finished.

Very nice indeed David. The camouflage is certainly eye catching :)

I really like that. Makes a welcome change from the usual aluminium finish. What were the paints you used?

cheers Dazzled, Toby.
The paints were acrylic, the underside was a mix of Revell Aqua Night Blue 54 and White 05, the camouflage was Revell Aqua Ochre Brown 88 and Humbrol 62 with the green being mixed from Humbrol 90 and Revell 39. The model was brush painted.

I'm even more impressed that it was brush painted.

Very Nice David – I do like that scheme – I can see where you are coming from when you say that you’d like to do an occasional series of Mig-15’s – they certainly had some very attractive (and different) camouflage applied to them – and this one is no exception – it’s very smart, and nicely applied – A good old bit of brush painting.

I do have a question for you (and Toby) though in regards to the kit. When you look nose on to the model, does the tail look twisted to the right? BOTH my bis and uti are the same, and I am wondering if they are mould faults, or is it actually part of the design of the aircraft.

Great stuff.

Cheers
