This build has shown up how little modelling I've done over the last few months in that many tubes of filler have dried up. Green Stuff, GS Mr White Putty and my coveted "not available in the UK" Tamiya Grey putty have all had to go in the bin. Still got Perfect (if only for wing roots) Putty and the grandaddy of them all Milliput.

OK, the build is officially overs so here is the state of play. I've done the initial fill sand of the fuselage seams, nothing too bad and had another go at blending the engines into the nacelles.

With the aid of some blue tack here's an idea of what it will look like ( other than being a Shack ).

I'm not going to get much further for now even if there is an extension. I want to pay some more attention to the engines before attaching the wings. I'm also considering adding a metal spar to help support the wings as they are pretty much a butt joint otherwise.

It's been interesting watching the bigger builds come together and well done to you all.

A brilliant effort against a ridiculously botched set of mouldings.

You certainly had your work cut out with this one James, and it looks like you are going to end up with a fantastic model when you get the chance to finish
Best wishes

The issues had put me off from starting it, but this GB was the push I needed. In the solutions were reasonably quick and easy and I'll keep at it over the Christmas break.
