Very clever....It's hard to see in the final picture - have you blocked off the sides in the new cutouts below the turrets? In addition to adding to this model's overall cool factor, your inserts will also add a lot of strength: I always worry about the integrity of this type of monocoque design when they don't have internal formers...

Here is my finished Battlestar Berzerk from the re-imagined Battlestar Galactica series. This kit finished off a a whopping 13.5 inches.
