Cosford Show - April 12th 2015 - "Shropshire Model Show"

Post by IronMan129 »

I have now had confirmation that we are booked to display at the 2015 Cosford Model Show!
So far we have a display area of 12ft by 3ft but I may just spend a whopping £6!!! to have 12ft by 6ft like we had at Telford and by the sounds of what maybe coming to display we may need it.

No guarantees Adam but I may be able to make Cosford next year, if so I'll bring along a few 1/350th scale nuclear submarines; US Ohio class, French Le Triomphant class, Russian November class and Russian Oscar II class. Still working on them at the moment but I hope to have them finished.

Thanks mate that would be awesome!
It would bring a massive range of types, so far we have Aircraft, Cannons, Tanks and now Subs and Ships :).

Assuming I'm not working (won't know until nearer the time) I'll be there with the AMSIG and CBK SIG anyway so can spend some time on the Cold War table as well - and bring some kits obviously.

Cheers
Al.

The other show I do each year is IPMS Farnborough Modelfest (September) with the same SIGs as above. If you want to get a table for that one you'd need to apply soon but I'm sure we could man it - TomW is usually there with me as well. If you are able to go Adam we could drive together to save fuel. Just putting it out there mate!

Just a suggestion Mav, would you edit the title of each thread to show the Show day and date in them - may save people having to ask. ;-)
Cheers mate

I'm hoping to make it to Cosford. Work isn't a problem as, amazingly, it falls in the middle of my rest days. Study commitments are another matter though. I'll have a better idea how much time I can spare closer to the date.
