These kits almost build themselves, apart from drooping the elevators this is OOB. some of the sprue gates intrude on the joining faces and need trimming clear with a knife, also despite not having locating pins these kits do fit together really well. The detail is superb and the cockpits look great.

I'd certainly be interested to know how having that 2nd cockpit so far aft affected the c of g...

The front cockpit is moved forward something like 13.5ins. I'm sure wing tanks would also help bring the CofG forward.

That said, I have heard that the two-seat Spits are a little more sensitive in pitch than the single-seaters.

That's different; I like it. As a modelling subject I don't find Spitfires that interesting, but I really like this one.
