Re: Migrant's Hawk F1
Thanks guys.
Well, there's probably a million things I should be doing on Christmas Eve afternoon (oh, yes, there are, my wife just told me ), but instead I've been meddling in the model room. After two hours of masking - mainly trying to get the stripes parallel and symmetrical both sides - I had this:
And finally, the masking was removed to reveal this. As you can see there are a couple of touch-ups needed but not bad on the whole. Again, I'll leave it for a while to fully cure before handling. I couldn't resist slotting in the stabilizers, they're not glued yet.

Christmas! This man is a dedicated professional, above and beyond for the call of modelling, putting his personal safety aside as he ignores his spouse. He's in line for a medal: "Order of the Starfix", maybe with bar......JamesPerrin wrote:The 2 hours of masking paid off, lets hope Christmas hasn't been delayed!

Well, it's getting there. Still a few aerials and bits to add, and of course the base.

Brilliant! I can't believe what's happening visually, in front of my eyes.
