This is a GB to honor the stars - man, beast or thing - lead, supporting, or just in the cast - of the silver screen, large or small. The only requirement is that the star appeared on the screen. It should be fun, there are a hundred years of film to choose from.

This GB started from a lengthy thread here and runs from December 25th to January 31st.

Your GBLs are DazDaMan and jRatz, who will fill in any other info.

Well, chaps, I shall try my best to be a decent GBL, so fingers crossed I don't stuff it up somehow! :ha:

I genuinely hope people get to have a lot of fun doing this one, and I look forward to seeing what you all come up with!

You will not go wrong with John guiding you.

Cannot see any reason why I will not be able to start the ghost catcher on the 25th.

I have finished my exam marking and am recovering from a nasty head cold, so I need a diversion:

It will be finished as a lozenge-covered example from "The Blue Max".

I had hoped to have two entries for this G.B. but as the main components have to come from the Ukraine, a certain World leader is Putin the kybosh on that. One of them may have been stretching the rules anyway. In the opening scene of "Battle of Britain", Lambert the New Zealander pilot gives the French pilot a piggyback in his Hurri. My diorama was to be a "prequel" to this incident, where the French pilot and Pilot Officer Archie (Edward Fox) are in a French military Citroen Traction Avant picking up a shot down Lambert and his 'chute from some French infantry. Would this have been stretching the G.B. guidelines too far?
Still got my fingers crossed for the main parts for my 1/35 Zeppelin diorama arriving!

Now that my Do17 is finished, and a couple of other models, I was going to concentrate on getting my Bentley done. It should only take a couple of evenings...
but I find I have to go away today, into tomorrow. That cuts down my modelling time.
I may, thats, may, need an extra day extension, just to take the pressure off.
