Lancfan's Movie Spitfire ***FINISHED***
Re: Lancfan's Movie Spitfire ***FINISHED***
Looks great! And I like how you've weathered it - the film aircraft had washable paint, so they wouldn't have stayed pristine for long!

Looks the part.
I spotted a Spitfire getting new wing tips in the background of a photo on one of your other builds. 'Ah' says me 'whats he doing to that?' Now I knows.lancfan wrote:... however before I can do this I have to correct a senior moment as I seem to have forgotten to fit

Its not just how good your painting is, its how good the touch-ups are too.

Hey, I DO like that, rather a lot. I think I just found what to do with the Heller XVI I have. I'm a bit of a fan of film aircraft, I've been toying with the idea of doing one of the high back XVIs that played the baddies, one of them ended out in NZ for quite a few years, now in Aus.

I've also had an idea for a Heller Spit in the stash. Might just do it for the Heller GB.

Actually, I'm going to do it for this GB, since it's only 1/72. Will post a new subject!
