Thank you, chaps!

Done a bit more over the past few nights. Tidied up some of the white / grey boundaries, got the upper transparencies on (not at all impressed about the shape of the upper gunner's canopy: far too flat, imho), and added the national marking decals. Tonight I want to finish the codes and serial numbers, followed by painting the exhaust collector rings, while I gird my loins to start the canopy framing. Pics later, hopefully.

So, here are the promised pictures.

I have painted round the periphery of the upper transparency pieces, but I haven't started the framing yet. Aircraft ID letters have been added, but I wimped out of doing the serial numbers this evening :oops: However, I did get the exhaust collector rings done (a couple of coats of Tamiya gunmetal, followed by dry-brushing Tamiya dark iron). There's some touching up at the edges required, but that can wait till tomorrow. Probably the most obvious thing is that I've started the weathering process by distressing the surface with micromesh. I need to add some darker oil paint streaking to the white next.
