It may be tedious but that paintwork is looking great.

Thanks gents. It's mindless, laborious work but once it's done I'll be on the home stretch.

Found some time in the middle of an insane-o week (starting new job) to finish the camo. Hope to have all the other bits done by the end of Sunday.

The beauty of this splotchy pattern is that it very effectively hides the terrible job I did of filling and sanding some of the seams, which the silver revealed in all its glaring shame

I have to say, it looks very evenly random (in a good way) if that makes any sense at all?
Best wishes

That camo looks well.
I find its a temptation to increase the size of the splodges as one gets on with it, to get it over and done with. Your camo job doesn't show any of that.

Thanks. The only thing that could bring me undone now is decals. My printer ate the paper when I tried to print last night....

They printed........sorta.

I may have to resort to masking for the rudder stripes, which will drag the build out slightly

Two layers of white decal film, then insignia decal on top. Seems to be working. Phew!

On track to finish tomorrow night. Katiuska is looking pretty and just needs a little more dressing...
