That might be my best shot. Perhaps I could have done the CASA Heinkel for the film star build after all!

Well I can bung them in the post on Tuesday (my time) if you like. I was thinking I might have a use for them but no immediate projects come to mind, and I know they would go to a good home if no one in the UK can kit you out with them currently. I would think that there might be a few scrapped Lanc models out your way but if not say the word and I shall send them to you. PM me with your addy and we can do this.

Hi, having done a few conversions of the Airfix Lanc into Manchester and Lincoln, I might have merlin engines and top turret parts lying around but let me look this afternoon. Don't mean to steal your thunder Gnome!!.

UPDATE: I have four used engines for a Lanc, which although painted are not in bad shape at all. I also have two outer engines unpainted but assembled as well as four engine fronts and propellers. Are these any use?.

Gnome's gonna hopefully send me the outer engines for the Heinkel project during the week, but don't bin them just yet in case I need a back-up plan! :-D

No worries here Mark. The postage rates between you two in the UK would be a lot more reasonable, especially if you have a spare dorsal windscreen to sweeten the deal. It's up to you and Daz.

Well, if it's OK then I'd like to secure Mark's engines but keep Nick's as a back-up (just in case). Nick, I'll fire you the Jumo bits once I've managed to remove them....!

All good here Daren. If I have something to trade for them then you could send them, but there's no rush. Just you get cracking on that CASA, and impress the lot of us with the results!

Slight change to the plan:

I'm still going ahead with the CASA conversion, BUT I've bought a Revell Heinkel 111 to attempt this with instead.

I'll carry on with the Airfix He111 as normal.
