Made a start on the Heinkel last night. Painted the insides of the fuselage, plus started assembling the wings and control surfaces.

Pics later.

Story so far...

The Heinkel's rudder is out of shot here, but I've assembled that, too.

The parts here will get a tidy-up before I do anything else with them. So far, so good, though!

Thanks to Marky, some Lancaster engine parts arrived for the CASA conversion.

Like I said, I'll save them for the Revell Heinkel I have in the stash. I'll maybe have a go at that when I'm not doing a GB.

Sit-rep:

The Heinkel is starting to look like a Heinkel now, with the fuselage joined together, and the wings and tailplane attached.

I'll get more done to it tomorrow, with any luck.

Blimey Daz  talk about cutting it close to the deadline, still it looks like you're making swift progress.

Second coat was applied before I went to bed last night, and the model is now ready for the black-green "splinter" camo to be applied.

Once I've done that, I'll assemble the smaller parts and ready them to be hung on the airframe.
